You Are Unique!

I am fearfully and wonderfully made!

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. 1Chronicles 16:25

Start this new year off right by exploring the word of God. For the entire month of January, the Powerzone Ministries' daily devotionals will focus on the topic of #JOY. Biblical joy comes from the Lord. The Bible says "the Joy of the Lord is my strength", so how do you maintain your joy in a fallen world? Stay connected to learn more.

“I will praise thee, ;for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvelous are thy works; And my soul knoweth right well.” Psalms 139:14.

Joy January 30, 2023 By Dr. George Bing

Have you ever thought about how unique you are? No one in the world has the exact fingerprints that you have. There's no one else in the world that has the same footprints as you either. Believe it or not, I learned recently that no two people have the same ears! This includes identical twins! Interesting huh? The Psalmist King David was reminiscing on the Lord’s omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence when he concluded “I will praise thee, ;for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvelous are thy works; And my soul knoweth right well.” Psalms 139:14.

In other words, you are the one Lord who shaped me in my mother’s womb and knows every detail of my being, and that amazes me! Our God is the creator of all things; infinite in power, perfectly Holy, absolutely truthful, and complete in wisdom. He is an omniscient God! This means that He is all-knowing, and yes He knows all about you. He even knows how many hairs are on your head, because He has numbered them! “But the very hairs on your head are all numbered.” Matthew 10:30.

Even if you’re bald now; he knows how many stings were there at one time! No two people but your parents could've produced you. But we must always remember the God that created them and made it possible for them to have us. You may have a strained relationship with your parents, but you're blessed. Mom or dad, might not be in your life, but you're blessed! You may even be the product of rape, but you're blessed, and God loves you so much. He sacrificed His Son's life so that you might enjoy everlasting life, and for that reason alone is enough to be joyful! David also added in his praise of the Lord who created him"Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King." Psalms 149:2. What are your thoughts?
