So many people say that they love the Lord. "I love the love, I love the Lord!" Now in the baritone voice, "I love the Lord!" Now what does it mean to love the Lord, and how do you love someone you can't see? John 20:29. Who you love you trust, and who you trust, you believe what they say! A person who loves God, because they trust Him, and believe what He says. You weren't there when He died for your sins, but you trust His Word and believe what it says. It's recorded in His Word what He did over 2000 years ago. Let's not forget what He's done for you since you were born.
Have you lost a parent or loved one who positively impacted your life? Perhaps they did something for you that you know you could never repay. Even though they'll no longer be on this side, it's now in your heart to make them proud! If you truly love God, you'll live for Him. It's in your heart to God proud. You want Him to be proud to say that you're His child! "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."
