Joy January 28, 2023 By Dr. George Bing

Have you ever attended a Church Service, and the message seemed to be directed at you? The thought comes to your mind: who spoke to him? I wonder how he knew what I needed. How does he know what I'm going through? Or how about, the familiar phrase” Man that was just for me. ”A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: And a word spoken in due season, how good is it!” Proverbs 15:23. I've had people say those things to me after a message and honestly had no clue. I have also heard it said to me "Alright, get off of my case." The question that should come to mind is WHO is HE or HIM that you're referring to? When you hear a Word from the Lord it's time to rejoice. It lets you know that you're on His mind. Oftentimes God will confirm something that you're not sure He told you to do or didn't tell you to do.

God is always speaking to us, but if you are not tuned in to His station, you won't pick up what He's saying. When traveling outside of New York City and heading south for Florida I can still pick up the Fan which is the New York Mets Radio broadcast station as far as North Carolina. The signal is that strong, but eventually, as I drive further south I can’t hear the station anymore. You can be tuned in but because you're outside the area of God’s Strong Tower, you still won't know what He's saying to you. Hearing the Word increases your faith and brings joy to your heart. That Word when applied gets you victory, and you now can defeat the devil and combat his schemes. The Bible says "I rejoice at thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil." Spoil are possessions that your enemy had and after the battle is won; you receive what he had.! Psalms 119:162. Praise God! What are your thoughts?
