Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet

Have you ever begun a long-distance trip traveling to a place that you've never been to before? If you're like me; you'll pay closer attention to detail perhaps more than normal. Let's say you're traveling down to Miami from New York on 95 South. Once you get on the proper route, you're going to glance at the signs every now and then to reassure yourself that you're traveling on the right road. Sometimes the roads will be very dark because there aren't any lights out on the highway. You have to depend on the lights from your vehicle to see your way. Don't we take our lights for granted at times? I remember years ago now when my cousin bought a new vehicle back then, and he took me for a ride in it. Whenever we approached a sign, the brighteners would automatically illuminate them. This is a feature everyone should have.
My cousin's vehicle was originally designed and equipped to make it easier to reveal to us what the signs are saying. I had never been able to see signs so clearly in my life, and it was because of this new feature. The Bible says “Do all things without murmurings and disputings; that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as the lights in the world” Philippians 2:14-15. Yes, we are like the stars in the sky on Earth, and because we carry the Word is why our light can be best seen in darkness. If you've been born again you're a new vehicle. You too have been designed and equipped by your maker with power on the inside with a feature (Holy Ghost power) that reveals to us what the signs(The Word) are saying to us. Our destination is Heaven, and following the signs will help us enjoy the trip, praise God! "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet And a Light unto my path.” Psalms 119:105. What are your thoughts?
