“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” Psalms 22:3

Blessed November 4, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

Music is the universal language of this world. Some people like to watch television. Some people like reading a good novel. Some people like going on social media. Some people have the gift of gab and enjoy talking about anything. There are sports addicts and some people either play or just like watching. But everyone loves some kind of music. Music can and potentially changes the atmosphere and absolutely can change your mindset. It is a blessing to worship the Lord and music is one of the best ways to do it.

The Bible says “Make joyful noise unto the LORD all you lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before His presence with singing. Psalms 100:1-2. That joyful noise blesses the Lord and He blesses us when He hears it! “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” Psalms 22:3. Yes His presence is there when we praise Him through song, and the passage goes on to say” we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” Psalms 100:3. If you have given your heart to the Lord you are His, and you are blessed because of it.

When gang members are preparing for a battle over their so called turf, they play music that magnifies the god of this world. That music creates an atmosphere that increases the rage that is in these troubled young people. The seed of anger and hate is being fed as they prepare for war. In the same way when we listen to worship music and we summons the anointing we begin basking in His presence. There is nothing in this world that compares to it and to be in the Lord’s presence is the greatest blessing once you receive Him as Lord and Savior. “You will make known to me the path of life; In your presence is fullness of joy; in your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Psalms 16:11. What are your thoughts?
