Yesterday, we discussed the ideal time for devotional with the Lord, concluding that early mornings align with biblical teachings. We recognize that people are on different schedules and it might not be appropriate to have devotional time before dawn, so how can everyone pray early? Prayer is our vital connection to God, and we should engage in it regularly, as the Bible advises, "men ought always to pray, and not to faint" (Luke 18:1).

What does the Lord mean by "early" when people operate on different schedules? The answer is to pray as soon as you wake up. Whether it's before dawn or after, setting aside time to commune with the Lord should be a priority for every believer. As King David expressed in Psalm 5:3, "My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up."

I think David understood that prayer helps to align your heart, mind, and body eachday. It's a great habit to start your day by spending quality time with the Lord! The best part is, there's no set time limit for prayer. The Holy Spirit will guide you and lead you in a way that pleases God. “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). What are your thoughts?
