In life, all of us are subject to being hurt. You will be hurt in this life. You will be disappointed in this world. People have flaws, and faults and they will fail you. When your trust has been violated, it's hard to forgive people and move forward! Jesus being omniscient which means He's all-knowing, knew that it would be difficult to forgive. It's not easy to do and it's impossible to do without Special help. When you receive Jesus as Lord, He gives you His Spirit, and with Him, you have supernatural enablement. One of the things that you are now able to do with this supernatural power is to forgive. Ephesians 4:32
Unforgiveness is cancer that only will spread inside of you if you don't allow the Physician to cut it out. It will only spread throughout your entire being and only hurt you, and nothing happens to the person you're holding something against! You can love your enemies, and bless them that curse you. Only with the Holy Spirit, can we display this kind of Love! But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Matthew 5:44. What are your thoughts?
