When you're in trouble, who do you call on? Most of us growing up as children called on mom or dad. It seemed like they could solve just about any problem. But I don't know about you, but I discovered a long time ago that my parents had problems too! I came to realize that there were times when they didn't know what to do. What do you do when you don't know what to do?
The definition of insanity is doing something the same way over again and expecting a different result! Trouble will jumpstart you to pray. Adversity will cause you to do things differently. Drama in your life will drive you to change directions! What a privilege those of us that have learned to seek the Lord enjoy. Why carry your burdens alone when you have access to the greatest power in the world? A Pastor was sharing an experience that he had while traveling with some other guys in a vehicle that he was a passenger in, and another vehicle heading towards them lost control of the vehicle. That vehicle now heading directly in their path was sure going to hit them head and the Pastor thought to himself” I’m going to die on the same day that I buried my dad? He only had time to say “Jesus” and at the very last second that car swerved missing the vehicle he was traveling in by inches.
There’s power in the name of Jesus! What joy! And what's wonderful is when everyone can see that it's Divine intervention in your life when your deliverance comes! Yes, He has to get the glory! Praise God! "Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified." Psalms 40:16. What are your thoughts?
