The Word of God is what the enemy and his minions fear most

Yesterday we began discussing the only Offensive Spiritual weapon in the arsenal of the Believer and that is the Sword of the Spirit; which is the Word of God. We will continue this extremely broad subject. The Word of God is what the enemy and his minions fear most and as a matter of fact, it is the only thing that they fear. You can sing and unless the song that you’re singing references the Word of God the devil does not fear it. You can dance under the anointing to praise music and the enemy has no fear of it. You can even send up a prayer but again if the Word of God is not acknowledged and applied in your prayer; the enemy is not moved by that either.
The Word of God is the most powerful weapon for many reasons. For one it gives life to any situation or relationship that might appear to be dead. Jesus said, “It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: The Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63. Oftentimes when I visit sick people in the Hospital; I encourage them to read the Word of God or to have someone read it to them. The reason is that Jesus said that His Words give life and they do. Do you realize that the Word gives the Believer guidance through a dark world?
The Psalmist says “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet And a light unto my path.” Psalms 119;105. You may have your head down at times in life, but you will see the light in your situation guiding your feet and making your paths in life clearer! God’s Word is such a powerful weapon that King David says “ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy Word above all thy name.” Psalms 138:2. What a powerful weapon indeed! What are your thoughts?
