This month we're going to be discussing Spiritual weapons. Everyone who knows that an enemy is looking to destroy them will seek some kind of protection. The weaponry used is contingent upon who the enemy is and how he is attacking them. The Bible says “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” 1 Peter 5:8. Lions roar after they have defeated their foes, and the enemy roars as a lion. The Bible does not say that he is one. He always attacks each of us in areas where we appear to be weak.
The devil and his staff have nothing in mind but to steal, kill, and destroy. Steal your joy, kill your spirit, and destroy your soul! Once you give your heart to Jesus you become the enemy of Satan. He knows that there's joy in your heart and he wants to steal it. You need to know that there's an alarm system on your soul. Don't let the enemy peep your code! The enemy only has power that you relinquish to him. Also, remember that demonic forces want us to become an embodiment of what they are and they are nothing but evil! "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." II Corinthians 10:4.
If you tell a roach, rat, or raccoon to scat; they're not moving. You have to use different methods to attack each of them. We don't use the weapons of the world to shut down the devil and his staff. God has designed the perfect weapons to keep the devil and his staff in check, praise God! “ Ye are of God little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” I John 4:4.
