" If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" Matthew 7:11

Love December 20, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

It's a sweet 16 for me as on this day 16 years ago, I gave my wife one of her most precious gifts. No, it wasn't my hand in marriage. That was 12 years prior to this. We had our first house built from the ground up and moved in 5 days before Christmas. Praise the Lord! Philippians 2:3

Gifts may not be your primary language, but everyone likes receiving one occasionally. I could've lived in our apartment for the rest of my life. It was spacious, and we had 3 swimming pools and a park for our kids to play in. The bedrooms were huge, but my wife wanted her own house. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17

Gifts are a tangible expression of your love for the recipient. It shows that you were thinking about that special someone. People who love receiving gifts recognize that you took your time, treasures, and thoughts to make their lives more pleasurable. That gift confirms that they are special to you because you sacrificed something of value to get it for them. The amount of money is not the point, but the amount of time taken to select the gift is! A person who loves you will certainly know! If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:11. What are your thoughts?
