In yesterday's Daily devotional, we posed a question about the power of the Son once you receive Jesus as Lord. We emphasized the importance of understanding the threefold cord that binds us as Believers, creating wonderful relationships. It's essential to acknowledge that we are now more liberated than ever before, thanks to our newfound connection with the Lord. The unity between the Father and Jesus is undeniable, and Jesus, in His wisdom, prayed for the Father to send us another Comforter after He ascended back to heaven. This Comforter, bestowed upon Believers, is none other than the Holy Spirit. However, one might wonder, can a Believer come from under the power of the SON (HOLY SPIRIT)?

When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you have undeveloped fruit in you initially. The fruit of the Spirit are planted in our hearts in seed form. They have to be watered by faith daily and remain under the power of the SON to grow. The fruit of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Yes, this is a threefold cord that cannot be broken and there’s no reason to fear that happening. Jesus says “And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day" (John 6:39).

In other words, you cannot lose your salvation. However, when you choose to stray and stay away from God and override what He is saying to you, your flesh can have its way. When we are not consistently in tune with the Holy Spirit by consulting Him in prayer, hearing, and studying the Word, there is now a reason to fear losing power! We will clarify the Lord's will tomorrow. “God hath spoken once; Twice have I heard this; That power belongeth unto God.” Psalms 62: 11. What are your thoughts?
