The Bible says “Be ye angry and sin not: Let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26-27

Have you ever been offended by someone and when you confronted them; they weren't even aware that you were hurt by them? You had been harboring this for a long time, and the only one that was affected negatively by it was you! You let the enemy get the victory, but he hasn't won the war! There are 12 rounds to a heavy-weight fight! I will say there’s one for every Disciple or Jewish tribe of Israel. ! The Bible says “Be ye angry and sin not: Let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26-27.

This passage is not saying that you should stay up all night trying to come into agreement with someone you’re not on the same page with or had a confrontation with. What the Apostle Paul is saying here is to at the least agree to disagree and table the discussion before going to bed and picking it back up after you have taken time away from it. This will eliminate any further conflict and confusion and cooler heads always think clearer. The devil and his staff have many devices they use to try to get us off course from the perfect Will of God. To resist the devil is a good start but, news flash: that's not good enough!

What? You can try to resist the devil all you want, but there's something else that must precede resisting him before it will be effective. We have to give ourselves completely over to God " We must submit ourselves to God first, and then we'll have the enablement (weapons) to resist the devil. This is spiritual warfare, and it begins in the mind. When you discover that you’re spiritually destitute; you start relying on God's power to get you the victory over Satan, praise God! “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7. What are your thoughts?
