Joy January 18, 2023 By Dr. George Bing
If you've lived in this world for any serious amount of time; it's a promise that someone has let you down. You put your trust in a family member, a friend, or a prominent figure, and they failed you. The reason being is that people are human, and as I learned in school; man is a flawed filter. People will fail, falter, and fall at times, but God never will. Even a person who loves God and walks with their integrity; yet only the God in them can totally be trusted. A person who truly walks in his or her integrity only fails to keep their word because obstacles can get in their way. Yet nothing can stop the love and power of God. The Bible says “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.
Nearly everyone is familiar with the OJ Simpson trial, and the Dream team! Johnny Cochrane will always be known as an outstanding attorney. Rather his client was guilty or not; he gave him the best defense possible! As great as he was there is an Attorney of Attorney and His name is Jesus Christ. Johnny died and so did Jesus, but Jesus is alive today and He's sitting at the right hand of the Father willing to plead your case, but you have to give it to Him. Attorney Jesus has a great relationship with the Judge and that’s the Father! When you have Jesus Christ on your team it's better than a dream; it's reality praise God. You have a reason to shout for joy, hallelujah! “But let all those that put thy trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because though defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee." Psalms 5:11. What are your thoughts?
