Jesus said, " A new Commandment that I give you, that ye love one an another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." John 13:34

Love December 31, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

I don't believe that there is anything in this world more difficult to do than to truly love your enemy. The reason being is that independent of the Spirit of God living in us; it's literally impossible. It is the Holy Spirit that gives you the power to love everybody, regardless of the hurt they may have caused you! Matthew 5:44

Dr. King called it "Sitting at the table of brotherhood." Darryl Davis is an African-American who befriended a Klansman and later was able to convince him to leave the Klan. This was the beginning of a ministry for him in which he has led many now former Klansmen to resign from the Klan. It was the Love of Jesus Christ that caused it, and gave him the power to do this!

Jesus said, " A new Commandment that I give you, that ye love one an another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." John 13:34. Jesus was talking to His Disciples and He never asks us to do something that He hasn't given us the enablement to do. When you receive Jesus Christ as Lord, you receive the power to love your enemies, bless them that curse you, and do good to them that hate you. Always remember; like Dr. Martin Luther King, and Darryl Davis who led members of the Klan to leave this organization; we can overcome evil with good! What are your thoughts?
