Love One to Another

In this life, we are challenged to overcome evil with good

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. 1Chronicles 16:25

For the entire month of March, the Powerzone Ministries' daily devotionals will focus on the HOLY SPIRIT, the third person of the Trinity. Jesus said "I will pray the Father, that He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever;" What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Ghost? Stay connected to learn more.

The Bible says “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14.

Holy Spirit, March 20, 2023 By Dr. George Bing

Yesterday we began a discussion about the Fruit of the Spirit. “For the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23. Love is the first fruit that needs to be produced in the life of a believer. We defined Love yesterday as well: Love is giving of one's self for another one's benefit, even at your own expense. That is precisely what the Father did when He created a body of flesh for Jesus to walk in as a man! The Bible says “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14.

Throughout His entire earthly life; our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ went about doing good. In this life, we are challenged to overcome evil with good. In other words, in the midst of bad things happening; we as believers are to do good. Some people claiming salvation tend to be Salamander saints. Whoever they're hanging out with; they tend to blend in with them. A Salamander will literally change its color to blend in with its surroundings to avoid being seen. When a saint acts ugly, the enemy will make sure that they are seen by the world! ”A doubleminded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8.

"By this all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye love one to another." When you truly have love, your time, talents, and treasures are made available to help others. When someone is in need and you have the ability to help them; the love of God drives you to be there. Even folks who have hurt you and have made your life miserable in the past; the Lord will allow you the opportunity to show them compassion. Compassion is love in action and our actions speak louder than words, praise God! “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples. If ye have love one for another. John 13:35. What are your thoughts?
