I Rejoice at Thy Word

When God Grants us Victory, We Can Rejoice!

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. 1Chronicles 16:25

For the entire month of May, the Powerzone Ministries' daily devotionals will explore the most vital subject to discuss, and that is The Word! The Bible says "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword," How does that apply to our daily walk?

"I rejoice at thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil." Psalms 119:162

Have you ever been praying about something, and you were amazed when it came to fruition? Perhaps it was a job or a promotion that you had prayed about, and it came to pass. As you began rejoicing, did you immediately realize why you got the position? You might be surprised how often people who were being persecuted by their bosses who hold on to their position; eventually, get that boss's job. "For promotion cometh neither from the east or the west or the south, but God is the judge." The Scripture goes on to say that "He putteth down one, and setteth up another!" Psalms 75:6-7.

"I rejoice at thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil." Psalms 119:162. We should automatically rejoice when what God has said He would do manifest. Spoil is the possessions that were taken from the enemy's camp, after the Israelites got the victory in battle. When God grants us victory, we can rejoice and receive what the enemy tried to keep from us, praise God! What are your thoughts?
