"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away." 1 Corinthians 13:8

Love December 1, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

Christmas is fastly approaching us, and I can't think of a better subject to speak about throughout the remainder of the year than Love. It was Love that became flesh and came to earth to live a perfect life, and lay down His life for us! But how do you define Love/ The Bible says “ For God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

There are many people inside the Church and outside of it that believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, but they still are not going to have eternal life! The Bible says “ Thou believest that there is is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe and tremble.” Remember that the enemy and a third of the Angels that were in Heaven saw and believed that our Lord was and is the Christ, and yet never accepted Him as Lord. When we truly love the Lord we will trust Him to be our Landlord in this world! When He sits on the throne in our hearts He reigns in our lives and we demonstrate His attributes in life Love is giving of oneself for another one's benefit; even at your own expense. Love expects nothing in return.

I have used myself as an example in the past. I love people and truly would give my life for loved ones. But I WOULD NOT give my SON'S life! God gave us His only begotten SON, and it was truly LOVE in action. When you are truly operating in Love, you are willing to put others ahead of yourself. If it's never acknowledged, if you never get a thank you or anything in return, it doesn't matter! That's what Love is because it never fails! “Charity never faileth” I Corinthians 13:8. What are your thoughts?
