Have you approached Jesus today with your sicknesses and diseases?

The Bible says, "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people" (Matthew 4:23).

In today's Daily devotional, we will be continuing our discussion on the greatest name, Jesus Christ, and His power to heal. Jesus was on assignment here in this world to save those who were lost, and that included all of us. One of the methods that the Lord used to confirm His divine authority was healing the sick. The Bible says, "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people" (Matthew 4:23).

In our most recent Daily devotionals, we discussed the various methods through which the Lord healed people. The primary method was by laying hands on them. The remarkable aspect of the Lord is His compassionate nature, as He willingly became a man to live on this earth and heal many. The Apostle Matthew states, "And great multitudes came unto Him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and He healed them" (Matthew 15:30).

In other words, individuals who were unable to walk, see, speak, or had lost limbs sought healing from Jesus. Have you approached Jesus today with your sicknesses and diseases? It is evident in this scripture passage that people believed that regardless of their medical conditions or limitations, they knew to come to Jesus.

But could He truly fulfill their desires to be healed, and what did those present witness? "Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb speak, the maimed made whole, the lame walk, and the blind see: and they glorified the God of Israel" (Matthew 15:31). What are your thoughts?
