Have you ever lost someone or something very special to you? A relationship that went sour. A marriage that was on the rocks. Perhaps you were let go from your place of employment; unexpectedly. Why do bad things happen to good people? The Bible says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.

All of the chemicals that make up salt create an additive to our food; that most of us find to be very tasty. Independent of each other they're poisoning! Yet when blended they actually can give food an even more pleasurable taste, and they will not harm you in any way! God can take the good, bad, and ugly things of life that we experience, and use them for His glory. God wants us to rely on Him to help us! God will allow what He hates to accomplish what He loves. God didn't take your loved one, but He will allow us to suffer losses to accomplish His purpose. He will send people into our lives to comfort us at times we need it the most.

The Holy Ghost is a comforter. Sometimes God doesn't use other people; He will comfort us through prayer, or the Word of God as we read or hear it. He always confirms His messages of comfort which are Truth! The Truth which is God’s Word will sanctify you and that means to set you apart from the standards of the world. Thy Word is Truth indeed. Praise God! “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. John 15:26.
