"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews 13:2.

Blessed November 19, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

Have you ever been in a situation where you have to trust the Lord to bring you out? It's part of the program for those of us that know Him as Lord. At least now and then. Hundreds of miles from home and a major road is closed and a sign is posted to take an alternate route! The Bible says “Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.” Deuteronomy 28:3.

Yes, I believe that I am blessed in the city and the field! In the wee hours of the night in the middle of an unfamiliar area. I had to trust the Lord for direction. It's something when a navigation system in your vehicle or person can't help you. Remember, this is an alternate route and if you missed a turn, how do you put instructions in for a place when you don't even know what route you need to get on? This was my present situation at the time. “Thomas saith unto Him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?" John 14:5.

You have no other alternative, but to do your first work over. I had to go back to where I first began this journey, before getting off course! Spiritually, it's the same way. Sometimes to get delivered, you have to go back to a place you may dread going back to. But that's where you will find deliverance. I ended up getting a special police escort to be assured that I would not get turned around again! Won’t He do it! "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews 13:2.That was an Angel sent to my family and I in a critical time of need. "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is." Jeremiah 17:7. What are your thoughts?
