God Wants a Personal Relationship With You

The Lord (who is the Word) has never broken His promises

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. 1Chronicles 16:25

For the entire month of May, the Powerzone Ministries' daily devotionals will explore the most vital subject to discuss, and that is The Word! The Bible says "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword," How does that apply to our daily walk?

“Your rule is eternal, and you are king forever. The LORD is faithful to His promises, and He is merciful in all His acts. Psalms 145:13

Yesterday, I shared one of the most astonishing moments that I have ever experienced. The New York Mets became World Champions of the baseball world by way of a miraculous comeback in game 6 of the 1986 World Series. I ended the Daily Devotional advising about an even greater comeback and experience in my life than that one. If you have ever been in a place that was far away from your home and were lost pay close attention. A dark place and no GPS could lead you to civilization, but out of nowhere, someone was sent to find you and lead you on the right path home. That was me spiritually after losing my baby brother who drowned while my family and I were on a short vacation.

It’s about Jesus Christ and how I was lost and he sent a dear friend who loved Him and she shared the news of salvation with me a Brooklyn College Campus. He has healed me multiple times when it appeared as if I wouldn’t live. He has literally been bread when I was hungry and supplied it for me. A roof over my head and there were several times that I got evicted, but I’ve never been homeless. A beautiful wife and two wonderful children who both love the Lord and work in the Ministry with their mother and I. The Lord has been a constant friend and when others have not kept their word: the Lord (who is the Word) has never broken His promises. The GN Bible says “Your rule is eternal, and you are king forever. The LORD is faithful to His promises, and He is merciful in all His acts. Psalms 145:13.

The Caps in Lord are speaking of the LORD being Adonai (Hebrew)which makes it personal. You could say “My LORD) in English and it would have the same personal meaning. God wants a personal relationship with you today. When you have a personal relationship with Him you fall in Love with the Word and want to know more and more about the LORD! It’s bubbling in your soul to tell somebody about your relationship with Jesus Christ! “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jews first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16. What are your thoughts?
