God's Word is True and Solid

The Lord never goes back on what He said He would do.

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. 1Chronicles 16:25

For the entire month of February, the Powerzone Ministries' daily devotionals will focus on the topic of #HOPE. The Bible says "hope deferred maketh the heart sick." What does that mean? The world oftentimes speaks of hope as wishful thinking, is this the same hope the bible teaches? Stay connected to learn more.

"Uphold me according to thy Word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope." Psalms 119:116

Hope February 5, 2023 By Dr. George Bing

Have you ever heard something about someone that you didn't want to believe? You were told what they said. Child did you hear that? You were told what they were alleged to have done. It wasn't their character and you held to your guns with the hope that it just wasn't true! There’s nothing wrong with having those kinds of thoughts about what you have heard about someone because speaking about love (Charity)The Bible says it ”beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” I Corinthians 13:7

You simply couldn't envision them doing what was conveyed to you. You even went to their defense. You put your neck out there for them! You put your reputation on the line. Your name could be ruined. You would swear if it was Biblical. These days I have heard people on reality shows and in life in general say" I swear on my mother's grave--" and it was discovered that they were not telling the truth! Wow! By the way, momma was alive and well and living in Chicago! That person you believed in let you down. They were guilty of what they were accused of. You got egg on your face. The hope that you had was a mirage.

God's Word is true and solid. The Lord never goes back on what He said He would do. In fact, it's already been done. You can envision your mind totally at peace. Your money will no longer be funny. Your marriage will no longer be in shambles. As long as you're leaning on what His Word says; you won't be ashamed of your hope in Christ Jesus! "Uphold me according to thy Word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope." Psalms 119:116. What are your thoughts?
