Giving Thanks For Anointed Music

Through the anointing, the music produced by instruments can also bring healing.

In this special edition daily devotional, we invite you to embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving and cultivate a heart overflowing with gratitude towards the Lord.

Isaiah 10:27 states, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”

In today's Daily devotional, we will continue our discussion on giving thanks to God for the musical instruments He has created. Music is not only a universal language but is also produced by skilled musicians who play various instruments. Each instrument produces a unique sound, and when they are correctly orchestrated, we can experience something truly special.

Have you ever considered the power of saints coming together to worship the Lord through song? In Matthew 18:20, Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” For God to receive glory, He must be present and in control. This is why when instruments are used to give Him glory, they have a profound impact on changing people's lives. Isaiah 10:27 states, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”

Absolutely, the anointing and the Word have the power to set us free. Through the anointing, the music produced by instruments can also bring healing. We can recall the story of David playing the harp for King Saul, which resulted in his healing and deliverance.

I believe that if Saul had truly been grateful to the Lord and thanked Him for his deliverance and healing; perhaps his life would’ve ended in a more positive way. “And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him” (I Samuel 16:23). What are your thoughts?
