"A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." Proverbs 17:17

Love December 22, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

In this world, we have four sects of people that can be placed into the following categories: Family, foes, familiarities, and friends. Everyone who claims to be a friend is not. Every family member is not necessarily a friend. Sadly, every person who attends the same Church as you is not a friend either. Psalms 55:14

Just because a person says that they're your friend, it's not necessarily so. Everyone familiar with you is not a friend. Foes are people that are not supportive but are in fact against you. Unfortunately, some people we have believed to be true friends, have been the ones to cause us the most hurt! Psalms 55:12-13

So who is a true friend? A true friend is a person who will be there when their support is needed. They may not always agree with you, but they'll respect your opinion. Times may get rough, but they remain loyal to you. They know your flaws, and their love for you remains. It's the reason that they were born in this world. They literally become closer than a relative because of this bond " A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." Proverbs 17:17 What are your thoughts?
