Enter Into The Joy of Thy Lord

God said I've got more for you!

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. 1Chronicles 16:25

Start this new year off right by exploring the word of God. For the entire month of January, the Powerzone Ministries' daily devotionals will focus on the topic of #JOY. Biblical joy comes from the Lord. The Bible says "the Joy of the Lord is my strength", so how do you maintain your joy in a fallen world? Stay connected to learn more.

"Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments." Psalms 48:11

Joy January 24, 2023 By Dr. George Bing

Have you ever experienced something that appeared to be so bad, and turned out to be so good? Living in an apartment for the first two years that my family and I moved to Florida was fine with me, but God wouldn't allow me to get too comfortable there. Nothing wrong with that, but God said I've got more for you. The Bible says “His lord said unto him, Well done thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee a ruler over many things; enter into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21.

Years later after the Lord gave me a vision to Pastor; I became an Interim Pastor at an established Ministry, but God said I've got more for you. One morning after that he woke me up early in the morning and confirmed the vision, even giving me the name of the Church. It would be an original Ministry and after only two years of worshipping in a School Cafeteria; God said I've got more for you. “His lord said unto him, Well done thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee a ruler over many things; enter into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:23.

When someone with total authority repeats the same thing to you there’s some significance there to adhere to. The Lord lead me after the first year of worshipping at the school to begin looking for property to build a Church. But where would we get the money to do it? God said I've got more for you! God supplied all we needed and gave us total favor to everyone involved, and we built a brand new edifice from the ground up. Mount Zion is the Church and we are so blessed, and it's because of His judgments! If you rejoice no matter where you are and trust His judgments; what appears to be bad, He'll work out for good! "Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments." Psalms 48:11. What are your thoughts?
