It's been a while since I was a single guy. I remember those years very well. There were a lot of good times, and some down times as well. Personally for the most part I enjoyed the bachelor life. I remember some Valentine's Days when I was alone. As the Apostle Paul said, "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." Philippians 4:11. There were tough moments, but I always believed that God had someone special for me. I truly kept my faith in the Lord and hope in my heart. I have been blessed with the love of my life.
I was later blessed with two beautiful children who got their great looks from mom. Don't let the enemy dupe, deceive, and divide your thinking. The Bible says "A double minded man is unstable in all of his ways." James 1:8. If you want a husband or a wife, believe the Lord for them! Envision your spouse and let the Lord know what kind of spouse you want! Envision your children and ask God to grant you your heart’s desire. You and that special man or woman if you're a man will be on the same page!
Keep your head up and your hope alive! Don't you see it? Maybe you don't have a person to call your sweetheart today. If you truly want the right sweetheart, it's a wonderful practice to draw closer to the One with a Sweetheart. The One who can give you your heart’s desire. The One who will never walk away from you and leave you alone! “for there is no respecter of persons with God.” Romans 2:11. Yes, faith and hope breed love. You don't want someone for the sake of not wanting to be alone. You want someone who will love you, and a person can't give you what they don't have. God is Love, and if they don't have Jesus, there's always going to be a lack of Love in your relationship. It's so worth the wait! I Corinthians 13:13. What are your thoughts?
