No one in their right mind wakes up saying; I want to make somebody's life miserable today. I want to cause confusion today. I want to have a conflict with someone today! I want chaos in my house! We all know that where there is no peace, there's confusion. Peace is something that we all desire. Even people who appear to be confusion makers truly want peace. I venture to say that the reason that they cause confusion is because they're frustrated because they don't have peace. "God is not the author of confusion, but a God of peace, in all Churches of the saints. "I Cor.14:33.
Peace is promoted throughout the Bible from the Old to the New Dispensation. God said through David “Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.” Psalms 34:14. In other words, we are supposed to practice and promote peace at all times. I remember being on the Q66 bus in Flushing New York looking out the window and seeing what appeared to be a group of guys running toward another young man getting ready to jump him.
I immediately prayed for peace and commanded that demonic activity to stop and instantaneously the guys stopped in their tracks and there were no punches thrown. The Bible say” Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. I John 4:4. That’s because as a Believer, the Prince of Peace resides in your heart!
If you don't have Jesus in your heart, you don't have peace! Jesus is the Prince of Peace. If you are a peacemaker you are blessed. If you are a person that goes out of your way to keep peace you're blessed. If you are a person that chooses not to speak because you know that what you want to say will cause confusion, you'll blessed. These are the attributes of Jesus Christ and you are considered to be a child of God! Matthew 5:9. What are your thoughts?
