"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee. Nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5.

Everyone has troubles tests and trials throughout their lives in this world. We will always have them because we live in a fallen world here on earth. Many Christians have been singing songs with lyrics pertaining to having trouble in their lives. These songs are sung by people who are convinced that these songs will strengthen them during difficult times. Wow! The truth be told if you listen to the lyrics; you'll realize why you feel depressed afterward as opposed to being blessed! The Bible says “For as he thinketh in his heart so is he” Proverbs 23:7.

We all need to think about what we are thinking about. Music is the universal language of the world. Everyone in the world enjoys some kind of music. Music also creates an atmosphere and if you listen to depressing lyrics they will indeed put you into depression. I elaborated on this subject recently. I have heard Believers sing the song "Pass Me Not," with vigor! God doesn't need us to remind him of something that He's not going to do if you are His child! The song says" why on others thou are calling, do not pass me by"? Why do people believe that God is passing them by and blessing others? The Bible says in referencing the Lord "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee. Nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5.

It’s a good practice to go to rehabilitation Centers and convalescent Homes to visit others less fortunate than you are. The hospitals are full of people that are sick and need our prayers. They too are blessed and when you are lonely and sick; it’s good to know that you’re blessed when you have Jesus. He said that He would be there with you! If He woke you up you're blessed; aren't you? There is no respecter of persons with God. Roman 2:11. What are your thoughts?
