So many people are governed by their emotions. Emotions can be very deceptive if you truly think about them. You're riding down the road and you see an officer's lights in your rearview mirror. Your mouth gets dry, and your forehead is sweating. Your mind is racing as your nerves are getting out of whack. All of a sudden he goes around you going after someone else? Wow, but look at how your thoughts changed during those moments! ”For I am the LORD, I change not, therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6.
This message was not only intended for God’s chosen people of Israel, but for everyone in the world! Regardless of the circumstances, God never changes. People say that they fall in and out of love. But the truth be told if you truly love someone it never stops. The relationship might change, but love is always there. No matter what you do God will never stop loving you. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8.
The thing about it is because of His love for us, we should strive to live a life that is pleasing to Him. We should show the Lord that we appreciate His ultimate sacrifice for us. People walk in and out of our lives, but God doesn't. Friends become associates, but God doesn't. Family may disown us or wake up on the wrong side of the bed, (whatever that's supposed to mean) but God doesn't. The reason being is that God is Love and even when He blesses us, He never takes it away from us!
