“not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart” Ephesians 6:6

Blessed November 6, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

Are you working on jobs that you dread going to? Employed in a place where you feel unfulfilled? Let's not forget those who have a career in a field where potential success there looms, but yet they don't enjoy it. Don't you realize that" Promotion cometh neither from the east nor from the west, Nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another. Psalms 75:6-7.

What a joy to know that “God is the judge and He will judge us based on the performance of our work on the job. What the world does not necessarily see God does. The Lord sees the things that you do and the extra efforts that you make on the job that may not be a part of your job description. The Bible says “not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart” Ephesians 6:6.

I was called to the Ministry over 30 years ago. When God called me I initially had a fear because I was trusting in my own limited ability. As the Lord spoke to me, He reassured me that He would give me what to say when I was called upon to preach. With confirmation and reassurance from Him, I began trusting Him more and more. I was blessed because I trusted in Him! ”Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10.

I love Jesus and my love for the Lord didn't begin when I was called. I have said this many times over, and that is “just because you go to Church doesn't make you a Christian.” I can sleep in a doghouse and it wouldn't make me a dog either. When you give your heart to Jesus you're blessed. When you enjoy going to Church because it's your Life, you're blessed. When you enjoy your calling as I do; whatever your calling is, you're blessed!” Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; In whose heart are the ways of them” Psalms 84:5. What are your thoughts?
