At the Service for our Grandmother on my wife’s side which was years ago now, she was honored by many that were in attendance. I hope that everyone who honored her at the Homegoing Service honored her during her lifetime here. “ Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: But a good word maketh it glad.” Proverbs 12:25.
As I was honored by people at my Appreciation Service recently; It naturally reminds you of people who deserve to be honored by you. Bishop Richard Norris who was a fine example to me while I was a member of Macedonia AME Church was one of several Pastors’ that I have been privileged to sit under and is a former Pastor whom I gladly honor for sure. His sermons were both powerful and inspiring mainly because I believe there was life behind them.
Pastor Jim Cymbala who is still the Pastor of Brooklyn Tabernacle in Brooklyn New York has perhaps inspired me more than any other Pastor whom I was privileged to sit under. He literally taught me how to worship the Lord and indeed I have no doubt that there was life behind it. I have truly been blessed to have worked with some of the most renowned Ministries in this country. Eagle's Dimension International Fellowship under Pastor RJ Washington. ICCM International Congress of Churches and Ministers under Dr. Michael Chitwood, and my Bishop Don Glenn. Also, KAP Kingdom Agenda Pastors under Dr. Tony Evans's leadership.
Under Dr. Chitwood, I was the Regional Overseer of 53 Ministries in the Central and North regions of Florida. Under Dr Evans I was assigned to host the Christian Movie "War Room "as we were the first on the east coast to hold a Private Screening of the movie.
