“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my Name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24

Blessed November 13, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

When God blesses you with something, it is never a burden to you. You prosper with material things such as vehicles and houses. If it's a job that you're working on, you don't dread going to it. You wake up with a zealous attitude, and look forward to getting there! If it's a vehicle, you are able to handle the payments and there's no repossession. There are no trips to the auto repair shop on a regular basis. I mean you're on a first name basis with every mechanic there! That is not a blessing from God! “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, And He added no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22.

If the Lord blesses you with a large home you will not be constantly complaining about having to clean it. I venture to say you might be financially able to hire someone or a domestic service to assist you. The vehicle that you’re driving will be a joy getting into it on a regular basis and you will be comfortable with everything about it. Your career occupation is something that you would actual pay people to allow you to perform in it. It’s a joy to do what you do for an income. What you have a passion to do in life is something that you should always pray about.

“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my Name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24. Anything that is a burden to hold on to is not a gift from God. Anything that brings misery to your life on a consistent basis is not a gift from God. Whatever God blesses you with always brings us joy. He never takes back what He blesses us with. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17. What are your thoughts?
