“Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies” Psalms 103:4

Blessed November 22, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

It may be a horse pill with no water, but no one came into this world without sin. God through David said, “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Psalms 51:5. This is known as original sin. We all inherited it from Mother Eve after the fall from Grace in the Garden of Eden. It was Adam’s fault because he was responsible for keeping his wife from listening to the Serpent who deceived her. Just like in a basketball ball game if a player on your team commits a foul such as traveling; the entire team is penalized. It’s called a team foul, and that put the entire world over the limit! ”All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. “Romans 3:23.

Every wrong deed that we perform may it be gossip, lying, sexual immorality, and anything harmful to a person is a sin, and we are accountable for it. There is not a just man on earth that doeth good and sinneth not. But the Bible also says" whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13. In other words there's a chance for all of us to be delivered from the hands of the enemy. “Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies” Psalms 103:4

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4. This is a passage of Scripture that reading on the surface will cause you to miss what the Lord is saying. When you mourn obviously that is downtime. But the question posed is what is Jesus speaking about when He says " mourn? "He's not talking about losing a loved one and being devastated over it as it may appear to be referring to. He's actually speaking about the residue that a person carries after they have missed the mark! There is a conviction that comes within the believer when we are in error. Those that mourn because of it and are sincere in wanting to change, shall be comforted by Him because you're trusting in Him to deliver you. But if you choose to remain on the wrong path, there's no comfort by Him. “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer shall be abomination.” Proverbs 28:9.
