"Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;" 1 Corinthians 13:5

Love December 28, 2022 By Dr. George Bing

Everybody in this world gets angry at diverse times and for different reasons. Just like a sports team watches the tendencies of their opponents; the devil studies ours as well. Believe it or not, God put the emotion of anger in us, and it was intended for good. Genesis 1:31. The Scripture says"Be angry, and sin not," which is a directive from God. God wants us to be angry about sin, and any injustices we may endure in this world. Sin comes in when we take matters into our own hands instead of leaving them in God's! There are different ways that we can be provoked to respond in the wrong way. James 1:19

If you have an A personality, you probably get irritated when people respond slowly to things. Speaking, listening, comprehending, driving, etc. You don't have to have an A personality for the enemy to provoke you by sending demonic forces to purposely irritate you. We show him how much we're agitated by how we respond to obstacles. The more Love you have in you, the less likely you are to be provoked to respond negatively. Love "is not easily provoked." Isn't it amazing how the Lord can keep us if we want to be kept? 1 Corinthians 13:5 What are your thoughts?
